Look: Michael Block Has Incredible Perspective On Likely Missing The Cut

To say that Michael Block had an awful day during the first round of the Charles Schwab Challenge would be a massive understatement.

He's in dead last heading into the second round on Friday after he shot 11-over.

He bogeyed four of his first five holes during the first round and then finished three of the final four holes with double bogeys.

After the round finished up, he spoke to the media and offered some great perspective even though he's likely not going to be playing in the event after Friday.

"If you are a golfer, you've had the day I've had," Block said.

"You understand the facts of where the lies aren't good and the trees are in your way every time. Even your good shots are bad, your bad shots are worse.

It is what it is. I'm going to live with it. And then at the same time, I sat there and thought about it. I said I'm gonna see my boys tomorrow night."

Block then got super emotional and said that he is going to give Friday's second round everything he has. He'll tee off at 9:48 a.m. ET.
