Amit Shah told in the program of the portal launch that about 4 crore people will already be benefitted. Through Sahara India Refund Portal, investors worth Rs 5,000 crore will get refund in a transparent manner. Regarding Sahara, he said that for many years the matter went to court and many agencies seized it, that is why the Narendra Modi government has started this refund portal to protect the interest of the investors.

Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah said at the inauguration ceremony of the Sahara Refund Portal that all the data of the four cooperative societies is online. This portal will help 17 lakh depositors to register themselves. The claims of these depositors will be settled. The money will be returned to the depositors’ bank account within 45 days.

Through this refund portal, those investors will get back their amount, whose investment has been completed on maturity. Investors will have to register their names on this portal. After confirmation, the refund process will start. The verification of documents of the investors to be conducted by the Subsidiary Societies will be done within 30 days.
Within a few days, you will be informed through SMS that the online claim filing process is complete. After this, the amount will be sent to the bank account of the investors. This process will take around 45 days. If only after this process the investors will get their money back.
